Along this same road, other notable restaurants include American Falafel, The Banh Mi Shop, Blueberry Hill, and Three Kings Public House. Delmar Boulevard is also fantastic for local shopping. Check out stores such as Vintage Vinyl, United Provisions grocery store, and Blick Art Materials.
 
Elsewhere in University City, you can find plenty of other quality spots for shopping and dining. Olive Boulevard is home to places like Private Kitchen, Frank & Helen’s Pizzeria, Lu Lu Seafood & Dim Sum, and Grill Stop. Residents of University City have wonderful spots to go to enjoy their days off. Specifically, there are numerous green spaces and parks that are beautifully maintained. The largest park in town is Herman Park. This local favorite has a spacious outdoor swimming pool, a jogging track, sports fields, and playgrounds. Nearby, you can also spend the morning or afternoon at Kaufman Park, Mooney Park, Lewis Park, or Flynn Park (which also features tennis courts).
 
On the western side of the city, avid golfers can spend their leisure time at Ruth Park Golf Course. As part of this same area, you can also hike along the breathtaking Ruth Park Nature Trail.
